The bible tell us in the book of Isaiah 40:6-8 that all men are like grass and there glory is like the flowers of the field. The grasses withers and the flowers fall. Grasses don't last forever neither do flowers. It shows that you will not live forever here on earth. We all are pilgrims answerable to the creator when eternity comes.
You may wonder while am telling you these. Its because life is too short to be wasted.
Grasses can either be green, healthy and blossoming with flowers, enticing the birds of the air all around it or it can be brown and withering without flowers nor birds around it.
In this contest, you are the grass and the flowers is what you have to offer, the birds are the people around you. You may choose to impact the lives of the people around you or not. Whether you will blossom or not depends on you. It depends on how often you draw power from the creator.
Isaiah 40:29 says that he giveth power to the faint and to them that has no might he increaseth strength. When your blossomness is fading and you feel weak as you journey through life, all you have to do is draw strength from Him by waiting upon Him as written in Isaiah 40:31. He is the fountain of life as seen in the book of Rev 21:6. He also is the fountain of living water. To sustain your life as a grass, you need to draw power from him. Let the people around you feel your impact before departure into eternity.
As stated earlier, life is too short to be wasted. Even when you blossom remember that you will not last for ever but Gods plan in your life will. All the life you impacted will continue to yield good things to your credit. My friend don't just live for living sake. Don't be a half dead grass that has nothing to offer to the birds.
Alfred the great lived for 50 years. His works cannot be forgotten in the history of mankind. He was known to defeat the Vikings as the king of Wessex through the power of God. Were other Emperor failed, King Alfred succeeded. This was because He drew power from God and defeated the enemies.
Thomas Edison cannot be forgotten today because his light is always shining on us everyday.
What can you be remembered for when you are gone to eternity. Remember life is always too short to be wasted so make good use of your life today. Never forget this ''when it seems as if you are fading, draw power from the divine source -God-''.
